The Art Institute of Chicago part 1

Jacques Louis David
French, 1748–1825
Madame François Buron, 1769

A few years ago I was on a cross country drive from Baltimore to San Diego and stopped in Chicago for a few days along the way.The Art Institute of Chicago is a world famous museum and one of the top ten major museums in America. I had one hour to run thru this world famous museum. I ended up missing the American collection of art but I did see the European collection.

I'm not writing descriptions for the photo's as I'm trying to cut down on the time it takes me to put out a post. In some cases I photographed the info. Enjoy the photo's.
